PREDATOR TYRES WARRANTY 

4-YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

The 4-Year Manufacturer Warranty is a non-prorated replacement for any manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal and intended use. Non-intended uses include racing, or competition use. If a manufacturing defect in material or workmanship occurs, the tyre will be replaced at no charge, on a non-prorated basis to the consumer.

MILEAGE WARRANTY

80,000KM TREAD LIFE GUARANTEE FOR PREDATOR New Mutant X-AT and X-RT PREDATOR tyres (X-AT and X-RT): All sizes are warrantied against treadwear prior to the applicable indicated mileage for each specific tyre model and size. In the event that the tyres do not achieve the guaranteed tread life that the amount to be compensated will be calculated on a pro-rata basis down to 25% remaining tread depth provided that the owner:

  • Presents the vehicle to an authorised dealer for a rotation and inspection at least every 10,000 kilometres and have documentation showing the rotation schedule.

    • During the inspection, the dealer will establish whether or not a tyre service is required. If required, the cost for the tyre service is the responsibility of the vehicle owner

  • Takes care to maintain regular care of wheel alignment, brakes, wheels, and suspension.

  • Presents documentation when requesting a rotation and inspection showing the rotation schedule, the date of purchase, vehicle type, model, odometer reading, and tyre pressure. The PREDATOR Warranty Card may be found on the PREDATOR AUSTRALIA website.

The owner is responsible for the cost of fitting, balancing, and any other additional taxes and freight or the acceptance of a higher-priced replacement tyre. PREDATOR TYRES AUSTRALIA shall not be responsible for any other fees incurred as part of any exchange, labour, or other costs incurred as a result of this guarantee. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Costs of mounting and balance service.

  • Costs related to tyre pressure monitoring systems.

  • Costs related to shipping and transportation of the tyre.

  • Loss of time or use, inconvenience, or any incidental or consequential damages.

PREDATOR TYRES AUSTRALIA is not responsible for any damage or other issues caused by the improper installation (including any of the Exclusions below), balance, or selection of tyre—including selections of size, specification, type, or use of such tyre (including those obligations under the “Owner’s Obligations section below”) that is not recommended by the manufacturer of your vehicle.

Any ride complaints that occur after the first 0.4mm of tread wear due to damaged wheels or vehicle issues/faults, PREDATOR TYRES AUSTRALIA will not warrant any work performed by the dealer. This includes, but is not limited to, their selection, fitment, mounting and balancing, inspection, or repair of any tyre.

When the tread becomes worn to 0.8mm (shown by tread wear indicators moulded into the tread grooves) the tyre tread shall be considered worn.

Please note, this warranty does not cover tyres bought for commercial use (Hire cars, ridesharing, taxis, etc.)

CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

The Mileage Warranty issued by PREDATOR TYRES AUSTRALIA is limited to the original purchaser and the original vehicle on which they are installed and is not assignable to subsequent purchasers or vehicles. All warranties and guarantees by PREDATOR TYRES AUSTRALIA are only applicable in Australia; any tyres used or equipped on a vehicle registered or operated outside of Australia are not covered by this warranty.

The following is not covered by the Mileage Warranty:

  • Tyres branded or marked “BLEM” from factory

  • Failure, damage or irregular wear due to:

    • Fire, accident or vandalism;

    • Mechanical condition of vehicle, including misalignment, wheel imbalance, faulty shocks or brakes;

    • Misapplication of tyre or use of improper inner tube.

    • Alteration of the tyre, or addition of alien material.

    • Use of tyre chains, tyre spinning, racing, or other competitive activities.

    • Your vehicle has staggered tyre fitments.

    • Conditions resulting from Road Hazards such as cuts, snags or punctures

  • Improper use or operation including, but not limited to:

    • Improper tyre and vehicle maintenance

    • Run flat or run with severe under inflation

    • Misuse, abuse, accident fire or chemical corrosion

    • Under inflation, overloading, over deflection

    • Failure to follow recommended rotation practices.

    • Improper installation, improper mounting or demounting, misapplication, improper repairs, wheel misalignment, or imbalance in the tyre/wheel assembly.

  • Your tyre size, load and speed rating do not match the tyre specifications outlined in your vehicle owner’s manual.

  • Tyres fitted to cars that are used for commercial purposes. (ie. hire cars, ridesharing, taxis, etc.)

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER RIGHTS

Under Australian Consumer Law all of our products come with a guarantee which entitles them to a refund or a replacement in the case of a major failure as well as compensation for any foreseeable loss or damage.

OWNER’S OBLIGATION

When making any warranty claim, you must return the tyre to be replaced to your PREDATOR tyre dealer and sign the customer signature section of the PREDATOR Tyre Claim Form. Proper vehicle and tyre care are necessary to obtain the expected wear from a tyre. It is your obligation to properly maintain your tyres and the vehicle upon which they are mounted, including:

  • Operating your tyres at the inflation pressures recommended by the tyre and vehicle manufacturer

  • Keeping your tyre/wheel assemblies in balance

  • Proper wheel alignment

  • Maintaining steering/suspension components to be within each manufacturer's specifications

  • Rotating your tyres at least every 10,000Km.

We recommend that you have your PREDATOR TYRES dealer inspect your tyres anytime you notice irregular or uneven tread wear and rotate them if necessary. Failure to follow any of the above-mentioned Owner Obligations may be considered a breach of the warranty agreement and result in the termination of the warranty agreement. Furthermore, PREDATOR TYRES AUSTRALIA reserves the right to review each warranty claim and deny the warranty application based on failing to follow any of the above-mentioned Owner Obligations. PREDATOR TYRES AUSTRALIA reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of all warranties at any time.

CLAIMS PROCESS

To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must:

  • Present your vehicle with the subject tyres, the original copy of this Limited Warranty, and the original sales invoice to an authorized PREDATOR TYRES dealer.

  • Present your completed Tyre Service Record to the authorized PREDATOR TYRE dealer together with the other two documents outlined above in point 1. For treadwear mileage warranty consideration, the Tyre Service Record must show the times and places that the tyre rotations were performed. PREDATOR TYRES recommends rotations at 10,000Km intervals or less for standard light truck tyres.

  • Complete and sign the PREDATOR TYRES Limited Warranty Claim form available on our website, keep a copy for your records, and leave the tyre with the dealer.

This Warranty is provided by the manufacturer, TRANSAMERICA TIRE Co, and its distributors ROH WHEELS AUSTRALIA (ARROWCREST GROUP PTY LTD).
